Christ's words in regard to the answer to prayer are unequivocal. In one place he says: "If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 18:19)
There is no mistaking the plain language of the statement. To him who believes, then, all things that are worthy to be accomplished are possible,--for wherever two agree, in asking, their prayer of faith will be effectual. Then what remains is to believe, have faith, and pray. "If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes." (Mark 9:23) "Have faith in God. ... What things soever you desire, when you pray believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." (Mark 11:22,24)--Present Truth, July 16, 1896.
